Kuala Lumpur Immanuel Church Ushers in 2025 with Renewed Hope and Shared Goals

On 1st January 2025, Kuala Lumpur Immanuel Church welcomed the New Year with a service filled with reflection, hope, and a renewed commitment to faith. Before the service commenced, members engaged in a meaningful exercise, reviewing their personal and spiritual goals from 2024 and setting new aspirations for the year ahead. These reflections were then shared amongst the congregation, fostering a sense of community and support.

The service’s sermon, titled “In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:1-11), delivered by Pastor James, emphasized the importance of cultivating the heart of Christ within each individual. Pastor James encouraged members to prioritize restoring their love relationship with God and extending that love to others. He stressed the importance of not only focusing on personal concerns but also actively seeking to share the burdens of fellow believers. This, he explained, is the true essence of love, a cornerstone for building a beautiful kingdom of heaven on earth.

The service concluded with a heartfelt prayer of gratitude. The congregation expressed thanks for God’s abundant grace, unwavering love, and the countless blessings received throughout the past year. Prayers were offered for a year of growth, transformation, and abundant blessings for all members. The church community reaffirmed its commitment to living lives that glorify God in all aspects of their lives.
